The CRP held their General Assembly at Lynnwood Ranch on June 19th and the Calgary Metropolitan Plan (CMP) was ratified, without any changes. Once again the CRP chose to ignore the concerns of the rural partners so the M.D of Foothills, M.D. of Rocky View and Wheatland County voted against the plan. They now have 90 days to decide whether to accept the plan or exit the partnership.
The Executive Committee of the PMRA has received several calls and e-mails asking what is the PMRA position on the issue of the Calgary Regional Partnership’s proposed plan and the effect that it will have on our area. In order to give a true reflection of PMRA’s view, we are asking you – its members. Please take a few moments to complete the questions below. Your opinion is vital to the future of our area. Polls close at midnight on Monday, April 13th.
